Organizers of the Transport Logistics and Trucking Conference are finalizing the agenda.

The Transport Logistics and Trucking Conference will be held at AZIMUT Hotel Olympic Moscow on September 12-13, 2017 to bring together representatives of major freight transport companies, logistics operators, cargo shippers, insurance companies, regulating authorities, industry NGOs and associations, as well as service providers for the industry. 
The event’s Organizing committee is currently finalizing the event agenda and speaker line-up. 

Session I. Setting Industry Standards and Transport & Logistics Market Regulations, includes presentations on Russian regulatory and legal framework of transport and freight forwarding system and State budgeting and supervisory policies in the trucking sector. The following discussion will allow the participants to weigh pros and cons of introducing market access regulating policies, and discuss even broader aspects of licensing in logistics. The organizers have invited the top management of the Russian Association of Freight Forwarding and Logistic Companies (ARE), as well as representatives of International Motor Carrier Association (ASMAP), the Russian Ministry of Transport, major motor carriers and logistics operators as speakers and round-table participants.     

Session II, Insurance and Safety on the Logistics Market, will touch upon the growing role of insurance companies in building up transparency and self-regulating ability of the transport and logistics market. The session hosts presentations on Status of the national insurance market of the freight transport industry, Terms and conditions of liability and cargo insurance and policy holder requirements’, ‘The key insurance-related risks in the trucking industry. Claims adjustment. These are followed by a discussion on the role of insurance factor in enhancing system safety of logistics services, as well as the relevance and legal ways of limiting the liabilities of transport and logistics chain stakeholders, and more. Among invited speakers here are representatives of insurance companies, logistics operators, professional associations of motor carriers and freight forwarding companies. 
End of day 1 of the event features the Technological Innovations in Motor Transport Session that includes presentations on future prospects and problems of introducing e-documentation to the freight transport industry, as well as new information services in the logistics, insurance, safety and financial sectors. 

The second day of the Conference starts on September 13 with Common Interaction Patterns of Transport and Logistics Players and Factors Affecting Their Economic Performances Session. The organizers announce presentations on Logistic chain stakeholder integration formats and levels: 4PL services, manageable fleet and transparent pricing polices, Enhanced operating efficiency of own fleet assets and fleet management outsourcing, Public motor carrier support programs. Investment projects in the freight cargo industry here. The participants of the following open discussion will be able to talk about the industry’s investment potential, its susceptibility to public taxation policies and the availability of investment programs for the industry.    

The panel discussion on Myths and Reality of Unmanned Motor Transport promises to be quite interesting and will draw a line under the Transport Logistics and Trucking Conference.
The organizers welcome representatives of freight transport companies, logistics operators, cargo shippers, regulating authorities, industry NGOs and associations, motor vehicle and spare part suppliers, IT-providers, R&D institutes and industry experts to take part in the event.
