Aviation Professionals 2017
5th international conferenceDate:June 2017
Aviation Professionals – international conference once again brought together representatives of airlines, government officials and training centers (both private and state) to discuss one of the most vital questions in Russian civil aviation: lack of high class professionals ready to deal with modern aircrafts.
In 2016, the Russian aviation labour market has seen dramatic changes: the airlines suffered a severe shortage of first pilots only 6 months ago but now due to decrease in aircraft fleets there is a pilot manpower surplus on the market.
Hence the recent initiative of the Russian Ministry of Labour concerning changes in cabin crew working conditions estimation seems to be inappropriate as they cause increase in airlines expenses. In addition, the observation of cabin crew working conditions as well as relaxation time has come to the fore as pilot fatigue influences flight safety.
Constantly increasing demand for both crew members and engineers is posing a serious challenge for the industry.
The conference agenda was designed to reflect key trends and prospects of the Russian aviation training market development.
• Working Conditions of Flight Crews
• Aviation Training in Russia: Main Problems and Trends
• Flight Training
• Engineering and Technical Staff Training
The speakers regularly include government officials, representatives of airlines and flight and engineering training centers from Russia and abroad.
